São Vicente, Lisbon
São Vicente is a parish located in the south eastern part of Lisbon, known for Graça neighborhood and its historic residential areas that feature homes with traditional Portuguese architecture in narrow streets, the Panteão Nacional (17th-century baroque church turned into modern-day mausoleum for tombs of national celebrities), the Lux Frágil front river discotech, and the Santa Apólonia historic train station.
The parish of São Vicente encompasses neighborhoods of:
- Graça, which is famous for its viewpoints that offer panoramic vistas of Lisbon
- east side of Alfama, known for its narrow, winding streets and the historic Fado music scene.
São Vivcente is bordered by the parishes of Santa Maria Maior to the south, Penha de França to the north, and Arroios to the northwest.
