Benfica, Lisbon
Benfica is a parish located in the northwestern part of Lisbon. It is a residential area featuring a mix of newly developed housing projects as well as more traditional zones with a variety of housing structures. The parish is known for its quality of life, easy access to public transportation, and amenities like shopping centers and recreational areas. More than south half part of Benfica parish is inserted in the Parque Florestal de Monsanto, with very low, or non existing construction.
The surrounding parishes to Benfica are Carnide to the northwest and São Domingos de Benfica to the southeast, with Belém to the south and Amadora to the West.
